On Thursday 4th
July the Centre for Housing Research (University of St Andrews) hosted a
one-day seminar to discuss the recent emergence and revival of different forms
of community-led and owned solutions to housing and regeneration issues. Eight
papers were presented focusing on the rationales, motivations, support models,
and tangible outcomes of community empowerment and associated community-led
initiatives. Powerpoints can be downloaded by going to the Centre for Housing Research
Tom Moore has produced an excellent report of the seminar. If you would like a copy please email Tom at tm55@st-andrews.ac.uk
